Interior Designer
As an Interior Designer you will have the opportunity to work on a range of high-end interior design projects from conceptualization to development through installation. You will assist with all aspects of the project including design management and client engagement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design
- Min. of 3 years of experience in an Interior Design firm or related field (4-6 years of experience preferred)
- Proficient in 2D CAD
- Positive team player with great communication skills
- Proactive self-starter with detailed follow-through and completion
- Ability to multi-task
- Willingness to try new things, think outside of the box and problem solve
- Strong design style and taste that aligns with the design team
- High attention to detail
- Experience in Studio Designer/Sketch-up and photoshop a plus
- Passion for interior design
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist & Collaborate with Senior lead designers in projects from concept through installation for residential, hospitality and commercial projects
- Preparation of schematic design concepts
- Maintain communication and collaborate with Clients, Contractors, and Vendors
- Design custom furniture, cabinetry, and more to achieve function and design goals
- Prepare presentations and design boards
- Design, space plan and architectural detail drawings
- Assist with project management
- Specify and Source Furniture and Fixtures
- Gather product specifications, samples, and pricing, Project documentation (i.e.. Product schedules, timelines, & construction documents.)
- Pick-up and return product and samples
- Maintain client and vendor files
- Design Window Treatments and specify fabrics
- Accessorize rooms and style rooms for photo shoots
- Travel to projects within 2 hours of our office as well as long distance projects (typically one project a year)
- Assist with Instagram stories posts of the projects you are working on.
- Attend industry events to keep current on latest products and trends and be inspired
Commitment: Full-Time Hours: Monday- Friday 9-5
