Meet the KED Interiors Team
Katie Wozniak
Principal Designer
Picture Katie at age 3, wandering the job sites of her father's successful Design/Build custom home company. It was her playground. It was the first, and probably most important puzzle piece in charting her course in life.
Fast forward to Marquette University where Katie graduated with a BS in Business Administration and Finance after also studying abroad in Oxford, England. The lure of interior design still beckoned. So she dug into the basics with experts in the trades - electric, plumbing, masonry, woodwork, architecture. Then onto Parsons School of Design in Paris for intense, hands-on courses and Harrington College of Design where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
The curious thing about all that education is that it's just a small part of Katie's story.
The real story - why you want to work with her - is that she puts your wishes and dreams first. Because she truly understands the inner workings of how homes and businesses are constructed, she is able to carve out spaces that create balance and harmony. She puts every fiber of her being into her projects to make them unique to each client. The big picture is important, but every detail must be tied together. Thinking things through from every angle is her strength--and your advantage.
You will feel at peace when you work with Katie. You'll know everything is taken care of with beauty, elegance and intelligence.

erika.maroney@kedinteriors.com
Some people are simply born to their profession. Erika Maroney grew up surrounded by designers, picking out swatches, visiting antique shops and furniture stores. She pursued her goals through education, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the prestigious New York School of Interior Design and by taking a myriad of art classes for mixed media, calligraphy and painting.
She gained practical experience on both sides of the design world–through a national decorating firm and tile company in Florida and then at leading high-end interior design groups in Chicago for bi-coastal clients. She even dipped her artistic efforts into starting her own retail store, creating hand-made gifts through various mediums. But through it all, one thing remained constant–Erika always had a single-minded passion to excel at all aspects of interior design.
That kind of dedication makes for the very best in interior designers.
The team approach at KED Interiors is what Erika finds most appealing. The collaboration of ideas, skillsets and the sheer wealth of collective experience she feels will jettison the client experience to a new high.
